How to Backflush
Insert blind filter into portafilter and add up to 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) of Cafiza Powder.
Insert portafilter into group head and activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
Remove portafilter and activate the brew cycle to rinse the portafilter under the group head's water stream.
Reinsert the portafilter without the cleaning powder and activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
Replace the blind filter with a standard basket and make a cup of espresso to remove any traces of cleaner. Discard this espresso – do not drink.
How to Clean Parts and Accessories
Create a soaking solution using 6 g of Cafiza powder for every liter of hot water.
Place the dirty parts in the cleaning solution (avoid submerging the portafilter handle).
